Organisation Overview: Babes Pregnancy Crisis Support Ltd is a non-profit agency that journeys with pregnant teenagers, providing emotional support, information, and resources to empower them to make responsible decisions about their pregnancy.
Brief Description: Support daily HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement activities. Assist in maintaining HR records, coordinating interviews, and preparing documents. Gain exposure to HR policies and practices while contributing to a positive workplace culture. Ideal for organised, people-oriented individuals with an interest in human resource management.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, scheduling interviews, and shortlisting candidates
Support onboarding and offboarding processes for staff and interns
Help maintain and update HR records, databases, and filing systems
Liaise with external stakeholders to support HR initiatives and organisational needs such as organising staff engagement and wellness activities
Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
Prepare HR-related documents, reports, and presentations
Provide administrative support for HR projects and initiatives
Assist in coordinating and executing community events where applicable
Learning Objectives and Outcomes:
To be exposed to the daily operations of a Human Resources department
To be able to support recruitment, onboarding, and staff engagement activities
To apply HR concepts and administrative skills in a practical setting
To participate in planning and executing HR-related projects and initiatives
To learn how to manage HR documentation and maintain data confidentiality
To gain knowledge in employment practices, policies, and people management
Opportunities to engage with external stakeholders and support community events
Duration of Internship: 6 months
Daily Working Hours: 9.00am - 6.00pm
Work Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
Minimum Qualification: No minimum education (i.e. A-level Graduates, Current Polytechnic students are welcome)
