Brief Description: As sustainability as a concept gains traction in Singapore, many people are beginning to pay attention to the subject. However, most educational messages appear to be geared solely towards raising awareness which is lacks the crucial call-to-actions to enable behavioural change. As a small company, we require someone who can support the efficiency and effectiveness of a small team by setting up processes and procedures for the company.

Roles and Responsibilities: As an Operations intern, your primary role will include but not limited to:

1. Managing and assisting the team in back end operations, including the management of equipment, schedules and programmes as well as handling projects from different scale and nature.

2. Review, analyse and supporting the ongoing documentation of work, inkling measurement and monitoring of our impact so that we can help to translate this into data for funding as well as impact evaluation.

3. Support the logistical need of the company.

Learning Objectives and Outcomes:You will gain knowledge in the sustainability space in Singapore, including the social enterprise space. In addition, you will be exposed to a wide range of tasks including:

1. Preparing for and attend meetings with stakeholders in the public, private and people sectors;

2. Help out in the implementation and execution of ongoing events, including but not limited to cleanups, workshops, learning journeys and events, with varying roles such as taking charge of logistics, equipment or timelines; and

3. Learn how to conduct public speaking through sharing and facilitation of learning journeys or workshops to a wide range of audience from pre-schoolers to corporates

Duration of Internship: 6 months

Daily Working Hours:

10.00am - 6.00pm (Mon - Fri)
10.00am - 1.00pm (occasional Sat when needed)

Work Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday

Minimum Qualification: No minimum education (i.e. A-level Graduates, Current Polytechnic students are welcome)
