Organisation Overview: HeartBid is a homegrown social enterprise that helps charities and non-profits fundraise more effectively through curated auction experiences. We connect community partners, donors, and local contributors—including artists, entrepreneurs, and businesses—to reimagine giving, address donor fatigue, and promote deeper civic engagement. Our mission is to build a more collaborative and sustainable giving ecosystem.

Brief Description: Arts and Heritage, Children & Family, Environment, Seniors, Special Needs, Youth, Others: Innovating fundraising for social good and supporting causes through events and public engagement.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Support planning and logistics of auction-related events

  2. Help liaise with donors, attendees, and charity partners

  3. Assist in setting up wellness or engagement booths where relevant

  4. Coordinate outreach to increase event participation

  5. Help document event outcomes and feedback

Learning Objectives and Outcomes:

  1. To be exposed to the end-to-end planning of charity fundraising events

  2. To be able to manage event logistics and outreach coordination

  3. To apply customer service and communication skills in donor settings

  4. To participate in the setup and execution of wellness-themed activities

  5. To gain knowledge in non-profit fundraising and event operations

Duration of Internship: 6 months

Daily Working Hours: 10.00am – 6.00pm (may shift on event days)

Work Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

Minimum Qualification: No minimum education (i.e. A-level Graduates, Current Polytechnic students are welcome)
