Organisation Overview: A Good Space is Singapore’s 1st co-operative to unite diverse changemakers as a collective changemaking force to design meaningful solutions for good. We represent more than 15 different social issues and come from all walks of life, united in our dream for a more caring and inclusive Singapore.

Brief Description: We are looking for a Digital Marketing Intern to work alongside us to bring awareness of our work to more organisations in the private, public and people sector and to more communities. You would be responsible in the developing and implementing of marketing initiatives and campaigns, and curating of fresh and innovative content for our digital platforms.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Craft social media posts, write articles and design graphics to raise awareness of different social issues in Singapore that are advocated by A Good Space’s changemaker members

2. Provide support in developing, planning, and implementing marketing campaigns for programs organised by A Good Space

3. Brainstorm new ideas to create content (videos, social experiments, articles, etc) that increase awareness of A Good Space and its social media channels

4. Conduct research and identify potential partnerships and sales channels for A Good Space, including media outlets, companies, civil society groups and funding avenues

5. Provide support in matters relating to marketing, partnerships or administration for A Good Space when needed

Learning Objectives and Outcomes:

1. Gain a deeper appreciation of diverse social issues (e.g. differently-abled, climate change, migrant workers, mental health, etc) in Singapore by working with and befriending passionate changemakers

2. Be able to propose content marketing ideas, administer content calendars, perform customer research and produce innovative content aligned with defined content guidelines for A Good Space

3. Learn how to design and implement a content marketing plan that leads to increased website traffic and signups for the A Good Space email newsletter

4. Be mentored on digital marketing, community building and social entrepreneurship by some of the most passionate changemakers in Singapor

5. Learn the nuts and bolts of starting a social project and movement, which you can apply to your own ideas

Duration of Internship: 5 months

Daily Working Hours: 9.00am - 6.00pm

Work Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

Minimum Qualification: No minimum education (i.e. A-level Graduates, Current Polytechnic students are welcome)

Requirements (if any): Any previous entrepreneurial experience (including failures) or involvement with any ground-up or volunteer initiatives will be seen as a massive advantage
While you will be trusted with important responsibilities (no coffee making or erasing the whiteboard!), it's fine if you don't have the skills yet. All we are looking for is 3 specific qualities:

   1. We are looking for people who share our drive to create meaningful social impact. If you are looking for a normal internship to fulfil a school requirement, then this is probably not for you.
