Brief Description: We are seeking Design & Creative Interns to join our team. You will be designing a wide variety of things across digital and offline media. To be successful in this position, you’ll be a self starter, capable of delivering creative ideas, and show amazing attention to detail.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Planning concepts by studying relevant information and materials.

2. Illustrating concepts by designing examples of art arrangement, size, type size and style.

3. Preparing finished art by operating necessary equipment and software.

4. Contributing to team efforts & partake in group collaborations.

5. Creating graphics, animations and layouts for marketing collaterals, product illustrations, company logos, and websites.

6. Reviewing final layouts & suggesting improvements when necessary.

Learning Objectives and Outcomes:

1. Strengthen Design Fundamentals

2. Apply principles of visual design such as layout, typography, colour theory, and composition across different media.

3. Master Industry-standard Tools

4. Execute Real-world Projects

5. Learn how to conceptualise and execute creative briefs from start to finish, including client communication, drafts, and final deliverables.

6. Work effectively in a team setting, contribute to brainstorming sessions, and participate in collaborative design processes.

7. Present and justify design decisions to clients, colleagues, and supervisors using effective communication and presentation techniques.

8. Practice time management by juggling multiple design tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

9. Understand how to adapt design assets for different platforms such as print, web, social media, and interactive workshops.

10. Build resilience and growth mindset by learning how to receive, process, and incorporate feedback into design iterations.

Duration of Internship: 5 months

Daily Working Hours: 9.00am - 6.00pm

Work Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

Minimum Qualification: No minimum education (i.e. A-level Graduates, Current Polytechnic students are welcome)
