Community Partnership Intern (Care Corner Singapore Ltd)

Organisation Overview: Founded in 1981, Care Corner is a non-profit organisation providing social and health care services to build hope and promote well-being for those in need. With 46 service points across Singapore, we serve children with special learning needs or from disadvantaged backgrounds, youth-at-risk, troubled families, vulnerable seniors and individuals with counselling and mental health needs.

Brief Description: We’re seeking someone with strong communication and interpersonal skills who is passionate about community collaboration for social good. The role focuses on increasing engagement in Woodlands, Toa Payoh, and Tampines by connecting with community partners to support the well-being of vulnerable children, youths, seniors, and their families. You'll also gain exposure to social innovation and contribute to sustainable, preventive efforts to uplift the community.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Volunteer Recruitment and Deployment: Manage volunteer recruitment and deployment processes.

2. Exposed to Signature Volunteer Programme Planning and Execution

3. Training & Curriculum Development: Assist in preparation of training materials and provide onsite support

4. Events Management - Provide support and assistance in preparation, execution and operations of events

5. Administrative duties: Perform tasks such as collation of reports, maintaining volunteer database, upkeep of website, data entry, and other work assigned by supervisor

1. Acquire insights related to volunteer management

2. Develop project management competencies

3. Exposure to Social Service sector

4. Exposure to working with Community Partners

Duration of Internship: 6 months

Daily Working Hours: 9.00am - 6.00pm

Work Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

Minimum Qualification: No minimum education (i.e. A-level Graduates, Current Polytechnic students are welcome)
